Happy Friday! We began our day with Our Spelling Quiz and everyone exhibited the characteristic of an IB Thinker while focusing on their quiz. Following Spelling we then transitioned directly into our Math lesson.
In math the students communicated with each other effectively while completing their small group assignment. They took risks in discovering measurement techniques and applied their knowledge with ease.
After morning recess we gathered together and discussed the Freckle Juice comprehension questions. The students applied their principles of reasoning to the discussion and executed their task dynamically.
In Science, we continued our unit of inquiry about Movement. We focused on the theory of force. The students worked collaboratively with one in another and demonstrated their knowledge through actions in the gym. They used hula hoops and their bodies to express force through movement. The learnng goals achieved!!
In choir and drama the students prepared and practiced their poem and song for DYFA.
