Sorry about the delay to yesterday's post. In Language Arts we started the day with new spelling words in which the students will be quizzed on Friday. We also, worked on phonics and then proceeded to read chapter two of Freckle Juice. The students have been incredibly engaged this week in their activities and seem to be enjoying the plot of the story.
Following LA the students continued with their math unit on measurement. We discussed our learning goals and we explored centimeters and how they are used to measure.
After lunch the children started a new unit in Science entitled Movement. They explored the concepts behind position of objects and how they describe positioning.
The final moments of the day took place in the library with book exchange and the printing of the letter"F".
